KCA is a non-profit organisation – we reinvest all received revenues back into the club. This includes the purchase of numerous bikes which can be used by the clubs members, free of charge. We have a bank of rollers for all our riders to train on. We are 100% committed to supporting the development of riders aged 6 to 18 and to achieve this goal we work very closely with British Cycling delivering high quality coaching and education via a number of programmes including:
- Go-ride coaching by KCA club coaches
- Club Cluster Training on both road and track (CCT) with other local clubs and
coaches under British Cycling guidance
- Regional Schools of Racing (RSR) with British Cycling coaches
- Olympic Development Apprenticeship (ODA) with British Cycling
Since we founded in 2010 we have already helped five riders secure places in the British Cycling Olympic Development Track Programme (ODA) in its inaugural year of operation in 2014. We have also helped numerous others secure places on the British Cycling Regional Schools of Racing which are one day coaching camps for Road, Track and Mountain bike racing.
We are totally committed to using the experience we have gained and the incredible information and advice that is shared by British Cycling to help each and every rider develop themselves to their full potential as competitive athletes.
