Today saw 13 riders racing at Halifax, we had racers in all age groups. in the Cat E race we had Austin, Bethannie and George. with 2nd places for both Bethannie and Austin. The Cat D race saw 4 riders take to the start line, unfortunatly Sam had to pull out of the race due to a mechanical ( all his Dads fault) Alfie got his best result to date and had a top speed of 20mph. KCA had a 1st and 2nd with Mackenzie dominating the race from start to finish he broke early and none of the field were able to catch him, Seth was his nearest rival who crossed the line in 2nd place. Cat C Race saw Isobel and Elenor making track debuts and Callum. All three riders can take positives from the race. The Cat B race saw Tom and Josh, Tom finished in the lead group and Josh continues to improve with every race. Henry raced in the Cat A race.

Tim was at the Ravensthorpe 10TT, and won the Juvenile race - riding the V910 course in 28:04.

Tim is this weeks rider of the week.

What a difference 100 miles make.

Austin Mackenzie and Seth competed in week 3 of the Dolan Series in Southport. Due to the torrential rain the series had to be cut short with just 1 of the 2 races taing place. Austin Got his best result of the series finishing 3rd in his race and 4th overall in the series. Seth recovered from a shocking start, where he was absoloute last to charge through the field and take 4th place and finish 5th in the series. Mackenzie got his 2nd win of the series which confirmed him 3rd overall.

In York 7 KCA Riders were on the start line. Which showed a return to form for Sam in the under 10 Race and Alfie producing his best performace to date. Jacob and Callum both competed in the under 12 race and Tim and Tom in the under 14's both riders remained in the lead group throughout the race. Henry was in the under 16 race.

This weeks star rider is Tom, after an 18 month lay off from the track, he was impressive through out the race and finished in the top 10.

Well done to all KCA racers
