Ravensthorpe Cycling Club

If you live in the Mirfield district and want to clock up some road miles on a Saturday, why not join some of our KCA regulars and the Ravensthorpe club who meet every Saturday for a 30-35 mile round trip. 

They meet at 09:00 at Ha’Penny Bridge, Battyeford, just off the A644. Check out the link below for more details of contacting the club should you need to.

Huddersfield Star Wheelers

Saturday afternoon. 15:00 - 16:00. Price is £2.00 per session. Based on an astro-turf playing field and grass fields at Newsome High School. Would suit riders aged 5-13 typically. Mountain bikes or road bikes are both ok.

Holme Valley Wheelers

David Williams a British Cycling Accredited Coach of Holme Valley Wheelers cycling club has opened up his Saturday coaching sessions to KCA members and other Huddersfield club members. David runs his sessions every week at Holmfirth High School. Meet in the car park where the bus turns around. 

Sessions start again on September 4th then every week thereafter. The sessions which are focussed on Road Race skills are from 10:00 to 12:00 and costs are £2 per rider.

East Bradford CC. Saturday morning. 10:30 until 12:30. Price is £3 per session. Based on a 1km road circuit outside Richard Dunn Sports Centre at Odsal Top, Bradford. Would suit riders aged 7-16, ideally with access to a road bike, but mountain bikes with road tyres will suffice until you decide you are very interested or ask Darren or Ivan about access to a KCA road bike.
