Sunday Club Runs

13-SRC Club Run

Starting on May 8th 2011, the KCA will be starting a series of cycle club runs every Sunday.  The very first run will be 36 miles (or thereabouts) and will have a cafe stop so we can enjoy the launch of our first ever club run with tea and cake!

13-SRC stands for 13 mph average speed and SRC stands for social riders group. This is NOT a coaching ride and is NOT a race training ride.

The club runs will be 36-40 miles on the first and third Sunday of the month with / without a cafe stop
and 46-50 miles on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

The meeting point will be the Three Nuns car park on the A62 near Cooper Bridge / John Cotton. The ride will leave the Three Nuns at 08:45.

The rides are suitable for young people (accompanied by a parent if under 14), as a recovery ride, someone getting back into cycling, or people wanting a social ride to enjoy the local roads and scenery.
